A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Most people will agree that it’s important to leave behind a Will—especially if you want what’s yours to fall into the right hands! Well, for 2,000 years, people have been praying to the Creator God: “…Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven…”[a]  But to understand the Creator God’s Will for the world that He created, it’s worth checking out what’s woven into the fabric of His epic storyline.

Finding and Repairing the Gaps

Today’s chapter holds the key for a door to the world’s greatest inheritance, which is still open to be claimed! Jacob (Abraham’s grandson) placed his right hand on Ephraim. In doing this, he released in Ephraim Father God’s power for dispersing Abraham’s blessing (the inheritance), across the earth [v16] by predicting that he’d become “a table of nations”. [v19]

This is a hugely important piece of information for us today. Taking time to look, will help us find and repair the holes in our understanding of our Maker’s Will for us—the people that He created in His own image. It’s a Global MasterPlan and, in today’s chapter, it’s incubating in the test tube of a nation, before He shares out His inheritance globally…Read More… CLICK on “24 January – Additional Notes”

THE LORD’S PRAYER:

   1.   Praise: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your Kingdom come! Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven …”

I praise you Lord my God, you’re the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome. You show no partiality and You accept no bribes. [Deuteronomy 10:17]

   2.   Ask: “…Give us today our daily bread…”

I call with all my heart. Answer me, Lord, and I’ll obey Your decrees. [Psalm 119:145]

    3.   Admit: “…Forgive us our sin as we forgive those who sin against us…”

Help me not to despise Your discipline, Lord. Help me not to resent Your rebuke, because You discipline those You love, as a father disciplines the son he delights in. [Proverbs 3:11-12]

    4.   Protect: “…Lead us not into temptation but delivers us from evil.”

May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify me through and through. May my whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. [1 Thessalonians 5:23]

For Yours Lord is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory now and forever. Amen!”
