08 February: Defying Physics

If you’re facing the impossible, today’s chapter is the first sign on earth that the God of Creation can defy the physical laws in what He made…

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Unravelling Physics
Unravelling Physics

To suggest that water can stand upright in a wall [v22&29] is like saying that Planet Earth had light before there was a sun, or that the universe and all that we have now on earth, was created in six days.[a]  Yet now that we have Albert Einstein’s law of relativity – and scientists who previously told us that the universe was expanding after “the big bang”, but now wonder if that theory wasn’t based on an optical illusion – perhaps defying physics is relative to our current information, and that Jesus was right all along:

“For humans this is impossible, but with God all things  are possible.”[b]

If we want to continue to the end of the world’s longest running drama in the Creator God’s epic storyline, we need to understand that what was previously witnessed by intelligent human beings (who know what they saw then wrote it down), must be believed. This is because everything we have, see, and experience, has been created by someone who resides outside the law of physics. The Creator God can defy physics precisely because He created the physical order as it now is. Read More? …CLICK on “08 February – Additional Notes”

But what about your thoughts – can you tell me what today’s “breadcrumb” is? Leave a note in the “Comments” box below to tell me what you think of today’s chapter.

THE LORD’S PRAYER:

   1.   Praise: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your Kingdom come! Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven …”

Lord, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God of heaven and earth? Your rule is over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in Your hands, and nothing can withstand You. [2 Chronicles 20:6]

   2.   Ask: “…Give us today our daily bread…”

Hear my prayer, Lord. May my cry for help come to you. [Psalm 102:1]

   3.   Admit: “…Forgive us our sin as we forgive those who sin against us…”

Lord, You’ve given me Your word so that I’ll not sin. But if I do sin, I have an advocate with You Father: Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. [1 John 2:1]

   4.   Protect: “…Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.”

“Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with His garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of His strength? ‘It is I,’ [says the Lord], ‘proclaiming victory and mighty to save.’” [Isaiah 63:1]

“For Yours Lord is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory now and forever. Amen!”

When Jesus was questioned, tested, tricked, or in His hour of great need, He always spoke things that were previously written in God’s Word.[e] Following these memory verses from ten topics, will help you learn 52 verses from the bible in a year!
