A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

I wonder what our families, societies, and governments would look like if we all expending ourselves, just as Jesus did, for the sake of the world! Incredibly, it was Jesus’ teaching on a system of thinking that brought about a culture within a people group, quite unlike anything the world had ever seen – the first, greatest and purest form of “commune-ism”.[a]

Through consolidation and change, Paul reiterates the same conscious awareness and commitment to community, in his letter to the Galatian Believers. True Followers of the Creator God are into restoration [v1]; carrying one-another’s burdens [v2]; remaining equal if not below others [v3-5]; sharing with those we’ve received from [v6]; working hard in our thinking and behaviour to foster social & behavioural reform [v7,8]; and, continual service. Thank-you Father God, for providing us with a Great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God. Help me now to hold fast to our confession. [Hebrews 4:14]
