A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
The timeless message to turn back to our Maker greets us this morning like the sharp call of an alarm clock: Return, because our sin is our downfall! [v1] But accompanied by the action of ‘returning’, the prayer is simple and it’s the same prayer today: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously.” [v2] The fatherless are finding compassion even today from our Maker, Father God, because our Creator has been offering healing for waywardness for more than 27 centuries. [v3] It’s free, undeserved, unconditional LOVE for anyone who will “return” to Him. [v4]
