A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Sometimes we see the “fruit” of what we hope for, in this lifetime. At other times, it’s like a painting that only becomes famous when the artist dies. After the death of King James, the King James version of the Bible – KJB: the book the changed the world[a] – became the main Bible in the English speaking world for the next 400 years! By the time King George VI came to power, he reigned over ¼ of the world’s population, and the KJB was the main book of Faith for the British Empire.
HIStory has proven that our Maker won’t see our good work wasted. On the contrary, by His great power, our Maker actually fulfils what we try to do in His Name. THE LORD’S PRAYER:

The Mighty One has done great things for me – Holy is His name! [Luke 1:49]
2. Ask: “…Give us today our daily bread…”
The World: Pray for St Bathélemy[c]; St Helena[d]; St Kitts & Nevis[e] and St Lucia[f]
Your Nation: Pray for Night Clubs

Your concerns for today
In my distress I called to You, Lord, and You answered me. From deep in the realm of the dead, I called for help and You, Lord, listened to my cry! [Jonah 2:2]
3. Admit: “…Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us…”
Lord, the great and awesome God, You keep Your covenant of love with those who love You and who keep Your commandments. But I’ve sinned, Lord, and done wrong. I’ve been wicked and rebelled. I’ve turned away from Your commands and laws. Forgive me! [Daniel 9:4-5]
4. Protect: “…Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one…”
Help me to stand at the crossroads and look, Father God. Help me to ask for the ancient paths and ask where the good way is. Help me to walk in it so that I’ll find rest for my soul.” [Jeremiah 6:16]
“ For Yours Lord is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory for ever and ever. Amen”
