A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:

Most of us like to know about the loopholes. If they’re legitimate and part of the law then, surely, we’ve a right to know about them and use them as a legitimate entitlement. Today’s chapter was written by a lawyer named Paul in the 1st Century AD. He was incredibly clever such that a Roman Governor once suggested that his “great learning” was driving him mad![a] From a young age, Paul was trained under a famous Law professor in the strictest sect of Judaism known at the time.[b] So if anyone knows the loopholes in the Creator God’s Laws for LIFE, concerning our eternal inheritance, this is the guy to unveil the mystery. He did it with a perfectly understandable explanation…

“Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of the Creator God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. [v50]  Listen, I tell you a mystery… the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.” [v53]

When this happens, then the sayings written by ancient prophets such as Isaiah and Hosea[c] will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” and “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” [v54,55] So if I want to plan ahead now for my future inheritance claim in the Kingdom of my Maker and Father God, I need to find the inheritance loophole today, which has been provided for us by His Law…

   3.   Admit: “…Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us…”

Help me to listen and turn from my evil ways, Father God. Help me to avoid being caught up in the calamity planned for the one who continues with their evil deeds. [Jeremiah 26:3]

   4.   Protect: “…Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one…”

You Lord, who delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, it’s You on whom I’ve set my hope because You’ll yet deliver me. [2 Corinthians 1:10]

“ For Yours Lord is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory for ever and ever. Amen”
