A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Ever since the day when Adam and Eve “hid from the presence of the Lord God”[a], there was never a record of any human who had seen the Presence of the Creator God, until He appeared to Abraham. [v7] This caught my attention, in this chapter, and helped me notice several very important puzzle pieces from the Creator God’s Complex Plan.
First, my Maker isn’t a nebulous force like the radiation of a galaxy. He has what HIStory has identifies as “the presence” of the Lord God [b] and Adam and Eve “heard the sound” of the LORD God as He was walking in the garden in the cool of the day.[a] He has a human voice. [v1] In addition to speaking with Adam and Eve, He spoke to Cain and Noah.[c] Finally, His “Presence” was clearly physical when He appeared and spoke with Abraham. [v7] So then, if I’m willing to look, not only has my Maker become visible (revealing Himself and personally making Himself and His plans known to humanity), but every paragraph in this epic storyline holds vital clues to what He is capable of doing in my life. Far from being distant, detached, and nebulous our Visible Creator is living and active, and His ways and works are clearly seen. Read More? … CLICK to follow “09 January – Additional Notes”
