Today’s chapter is one of the most complex chapters I’ve come across in the Master Weaver’s Plan. Unravelling it and pulling apart the information it contains, will take you on a journey through more than fifteen centuries of history and it’s all hidden between the lines…

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
When our children were primary school age, I was intrigued to find out that one Dad was MD for a local weaver renowned for supplying Chanel and other prestigious international fashion houses with the world’s most innovative tweed. After a tour of their mill one day, I was fascinated with the attention to detail, the knowledge of yarns, structure of textiles, and the complexity of machinery needed to produce it. The more unique the design, the more complex the weave is needed to produce it.
If our Creator has indeed been producing a Master Weaver’s Plan since time began, than the complexity of what He’s produced so far would be nothing less than exceptionally extraordinary. Since He transcends time and space the treads in HIStory cover events in multiple centuries, attaching them seamlessly in layers at goodness knows how many levels. Before he died, for example, Moses sang this:
“In majesty He is like a firstborn bull; His horns are the horns of a wild ox. With them He will gore the nations, even those at the ends of the earth…” [Deuteronomy 33:17]
It doesn’t surprise me, therefore, that the first people Jesus goes to are those representing the nations. [v12-17] With His winnowing fork now in His hand[a], He plunges it in to gather His wheat into the barn. [v24-25] And, as Moses sang: “…Such are the ten thousands of Ephraim (the tribe that would produce a table of nations), such are the thousands of Manasseh (his brother)…”[b]

THE LORD’S PRAYER:
1. Praise: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. Your Kingdom come! Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven …”
Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord and praise His name then proclaim His salvation day after day. [Psalm 96:1-2]
2. Ask: “…Give us today our daily bread…”
The World: Pray for the people of Barbados[d]
Your Country: The poor and homeless
Yourself: Needs of personal friends
Your concerns for today
Praise and thanks goes to You, God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. You’ve blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. [Ephesians 1:3]
3. Admit: “…Forgive us our sin as we forgive those who sin against us…”
Lord, you understand. Now remember me and care for me. I want to be long-suffering as You are and wait for You to avenge me on my persecutors. Whatever happens, don’t take me away; think of how I suffer reproach for Your sake. [Jeremiah 15:15]
4. Protect: “…Lead us not into temptation but delivers us from evil.”
The Lord my God is with me. The Mighty Warrior who saves takes great delight in me. In His love He’ll no longer rebuke me but will rejoice over me with singing. [Zephaniah 3:17]
“For Yours Lord is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory now and forever. Amen!”
When Jesus was questioned, tested, tricked or in His hour of great need, He always spoke things that were previously written in God’s Word.[e] Following these memory verses from ten topics, will help you learn 52 verses from the bible in a year!
